only 5 days left till the Oktoberfest is closing down

we wanted to spent some time with Mike and Sheilah

today we had a "girls afternoon"

beautiful weather in Munich

concert with all bands from the beer tents

after the concert a lunch break

on the way home a short stop

"Kaiserschmarrn" with apple sauce and a cup of coffee

we went for lunch to the "Oktoberfest " place and had one of those deliciouses fishes

every year I get a ginger bread heart with a nice saying

Herbert is soooo proud that he fits in this "Lederhos'n" again

our todays tent was "Hacker Zelt"

it's called "Heaven of Bavaria"
We spend this evening with family, friends and my former work colleges and had a great time there!

today we had just lunch there and on the way home we had a look to the parade

the first one from the parade arrived in the tent

the unmarried woman are wearing red hats

parade with 9000 members in traditional clothes walked to the Oktoberfest place

thats the married woman with the black hat

it was raining "cats and dogs" and the poor people had to walk 7 km !!

Herbert's decision was: thats the best time of the year in Munich

that's us with all our friends

the band walked to different places in the tent and stopped just next to us
