great day in the mountains

We decided to spend this beautiful sunny autumn day in the mountains and startet at "Walchensee" und walked up to "Herzogstand" 1575m !

we spent a week holiday on the greek island "Crete" in the little town of "Agios Nicolaos"

on this Island the people with leprosy been banished in the old days. Now lots of tourist visit this place.

that was our first archaeological ancient town

this minoan place is well known and was built about 2000 B.C.
In the next days, we visited more places and Herbert was impressed how many are in this area.

ready for the last traditional ceremony

we walked to watch the ceremony and then went home straight away. See you next year again!

for us it's the last visit on the Oktoberfest 2011

every time we had a lot of fun, now our life is going back to normal till next year !
